My 3 years son had sudden fever on Friday night and stomach pain. Fever is coming again after 5 to 6 hours of taking medicine. He vomited once. Today I got his urine report showing Leucocyte Esterase and pus cells 8 to 10. Doctor gave Ziprax. Is it UTI infection? He has no pain while passing urine. Report attached.

Yes, the presence of pus cells and positive leukocyte esterase suggests UTI. Ziprax cefixime is an appropriate antibiotic. Continue full course and ensure hydration.
