My 68-year-old diabetic relative was diagnosed with cellulitis by a general physician who recommended surgery. I'm worried is surgery really necessary or should we see a dermatologist first?

Could it be something that needs surgery or is there another way to remove it? It doesn't hurt but I'm starting to get concerned since it's been there so long.

Had laser surgery for pilonidal sinus a month ago but now there's pus and pain in the same spot again. Does this mean the surgery didn't work? What are my options for a permanent fix?

I've had pain during bowel movements and constipation for 15 days with a little blood today. The doctor says it's a fissure and recommends surgery costing ?‚Äö¬π10,000. My dad earns ?‚Äö¬π10,000/month - is surgery really necessary at 17 or are there other options?
Fissure can often heal with ointments, sitz baths, and fiber—surgery is not first-line at your age.
