My 1.5-month-old son was diagnosed with 1108mm c shunting ltrt. Can this resolve on its own or does he need surgery? How long can we wait before deciding? He's breathing a bit fast and has had a cold since 23 weeks. I've attached his report what do you suggest?
In your 1.5-month-old son’s case, C-shunting may resolve on its own, but surgery is often required for significant cases. Consult with a pediatric cardiologist for a more accurate assessment.
