My doctor prescribed Azithromycin for 5 days. Is there any serious problem associated with this high ESR?

I experience cough and phlegm whenever I am exposed to cold air. Even slight cold makes my body feel cool and triggers coughing and phlegm. My blood tests are all normal except for ESR, which is 52. My temperature is 96.5F, and I do not have fever, runny nose, or sneezing. Can someone help me understand what might be causing this?
