My blood report is showing mild leukocytosis and my lymphocyte count is increasing each month. Currently, my lymphocyte count is 5.67. Is there anything to worry about?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
A mild increase in lymphocytes and white blood cells often reflects recent infections or inflammation. A count of 5.67 is slightly above normal but not worrisome if you are healthy. Monitor the trend with repeat tests. If it continues to rise or if you develop new symptoms like fever, weight loss, or fatigue, consult a doctor.

Hi Doctor, My mother has high blood pressure and thyroid issues. In the past, she has undergone multiple surgeries, including three hernia operations, appendix removal, and a sterilization procedur, around 11 operations in total. Could you please advise about COVID19 vaccination for her? Specifically, which tests should be done before vaccination, and what parameters in the blood report should be within normal limits?
