My blood test indicated HBA1C 5.6. What do I do?

Eat low carbs and lean proteins and exercise well. Dont forget to take your medications on time.
Dr. Kamran Suggests...
Take a CULTURE - ANAEROBIC (ANY SPECIMEN EXCEPT BLOOD) Test or Take a RED CELL OSMOTIC FRAGILITY (STANDARD METHOD) Test

My daughter who is 11 years old was diagnosed last month with prediabetes and hypothyroidism. This month the doctor asked for a blood test and a follow up. Should I get her HbA1C test done along with fasting and postprandial sugar tests or only one of them? Which test will help to check if there is any improvement in her sugar levels? The doctor has asked only to do TSH, LFT, and lipid profile and meet him. Since she is on 25mg Eltroxin medication, should I also check her sugar levels while doing the blood test? Please advise.
