My brother had a CT brain scan today, and the report mentioned DNS on the left side. I'm a bit worried and not sure what that means. Could you explain its seriousness and what we can do to address it?

View allI'm going through treatment for Abdominal TB and since April 2016, my liver got affected too and I was close to having jaundice. My doctor switched up some meds, and now I'm on a daily streptomycin injection plan for 60 days. I'm on injection number 33, but lately, I've been feeling super dizzy all the time and find it hard to maintain my balance while walking. At first, I thought it might just be weakness, especially since I returned to work in mid-June, but when it persisted for 34 days, I saw my doctor again. He thinks it's Vertigo and gave me some medicine, but it's been 2.5 weeks and there's no sign of improvement. I even checked in with an ENT and the cochlear and audiometric tests turned out normal. I'm really getting anxious about this dizziness and imbalance. Do you think this can be cured, and should I be seeing a specific type of doctor for help? I can't even manage car rides anymore. Any advice or suggestions you might have would really mean a lot to me.

My dad had a stroke and the doctors found an infarction in his brain. Now they're recommending surgery is this really necessary or are there other options we should consider first?
It's understandable to be concerned about your dad's health and the recommended surgery. Not all stroke treatments require surgery, and other options should be considered first. Surgery is usually reserved for specific situations, especially those related to bleeding or severe blockages in the brain.
