My cousin has been having stomach pain and the doctor recommended hernia surgery based on her scan report. I'm not sure if surgery is really necessary could you take a look at the report and let me know if there are other options or if this is the best course of action? Just want to make sure we're making the right decision for her.

It's understandable to want to explore all options before surgery. While hernia surgery is generally the most effective treatment for painful or worsening hernias, some smaller or less symptomatic hernias might be managed with other approaches. It's crucial to discuss all options with your cousin's doctor and understand the potential risks and benefits of each approach

View allIt's been 10 days since my lipoma surgery but the wound hasn't healed yet and there's still pus buildup with a bad smell - is this normal or should I be worried about infection?
Surgery that involves a cut (incision) in the skin can lead to a wound infection after surgery. Most surgical wound infections show up within the first 30 days after surgery. Surgical wound infections may have pus draining from them and can be red, painful or hot to touch. You might have a fever and feel sick

Ive been dealing with this perianal abscess for around 20 days now. I was put on Uniclav 625 and have been applying Shield ointment for about 15 days. The abscess has started draining on its own partially, so Im wondering if I should keep using the Shield ointment on it. Also, are there any side effects if I use this ointment for a longer period?
