Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a very safe, minimally invasive, daycare surgery. If your epilepsy is well controlled, there‚Äôs usually no added risk. If it‚Äôs not well controlled, you can first focus on stabilizing it and then plan the surgery‚Äîit‚Äôs not an emergency. In the meantime, avoid oily and spicy food and maintain a healthy lifestyle to manage symptoms. Also, for gallstones, the gallbladder needs to be removed‚Äîjust removing the stones won‚Äôt help, as they tend to recur. And ESWL is effective only for kidney stones, not for gallstones.

I had gallbladder laparoscopy surgery 6 months ago but now I'm feeling some pain around the incision sites is this normal or should I be concerned?

Pain is normal post surgery ,you can take tab aceclofenac ,orally twice daily for 5 days,if pain persists a repeat USG is advised an a surgery opinion is advised to the patient.
