My dad has 3 gall bladder stones and an enlarged prostate at 73 cc. Is surgery absolutely necessary or can he manage with just medications for now? Really worried about his condition and want to understand the options better.

For a 73 cc enlarged prostate and gallstones, surgery might not be immediately necessary for either condition, but it depends on the severity of symptoms and individual factors. Medications can help manage symptoms of both, and watchful waiting might be an option for asymptomatic gallstones. Consulting with a doctor for a comprehensive evaluation and personalized treatment plan is crucial.

I've been dealing with paraphimosis for over a year now, and it's getting really frustrating. I'm not sure what steps to take. Could you guide me on what to do next? I'm really worried and would appreciate some quick advice.

Paraphimosis is a medical emergency that requires prompt attention; please immediately visit the nearest hospital or urology clinic, as delaying treatment can lead to serious complications, such as permanent damage to the penis, gangrene, or even amputation; a urologist may perform a manual reduction, circumcision, or preputioplasty to treat the condition.

Had a circumcision surgery last Saturday on 14 April but since yesterday I noticed some pus in the wound and it hurts when I try to clean it. Started taking ceftum 500 twice a day but not sure if washing with warm water will help or make the pus worse

It's important to seek medical advice immediately if you're experiencing pus and pain in a circumcision wound. While you're taking Ceftum, it's recommended to gently clean the area with warm water to help manage the infection, but you should not scrub or use harsh soaps. Warm water can help remove debris and promote drainage, but it's crucial to follow the guidance of your doctor, who may have specific instructions for wound care after circumcision.

I'm really concerned because a few years ago, I had a laparoscopic stent implantation done through the urethral opening when I was 21. During that procedure, they had to slightly remove the prepuce because the glans penis was completely covered since I was a kid. Only a tiny opening was there for urine. After they opened the preputial orifice, the skin was soft, pinkish-white, and super sensitive. But about a year later, I noticed a black spot there. There's no growth, it's just a spot, and I'm really confused about what it could be. Is this a lentigo or something else I should be worried about? Can you help me figure this out?
