My dad has had muscle wastage in his shoulders for the last 25-30 years, and now it's starting in his legs. He had cervical surgery for C5-C6 in 2001 because of tingling, but one doctor thinks it might be MND. We're really unsure could this be MND or something else?

Hello there are five motar neurological disease...These five conditions are amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, primary lateral sclerosis, progressive muscular atrophy, progressive bulbar palsy and pseudobulbar palsy.its not easy to diagnose MND with simple history ...lot of investigation and examination is required.... Consult neurologist...
