my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer but he's feeling okay right now. what are the treatment options at this stage - can he still have surgery or is chemotherapy the main route? also how good are the survival chances if he's currently doing well?

What's the best way to handle the cancer surgery in this situation?
Taking up for colon surgery with CAD TVD would be very risky. Depending on the location of tumour, management can be decided. If it is rectal cancer, then you can give neoadjuvant radiation which will control the bleeding, then plan for cardiac surgery followed by LAR surgery for rectal cancer. However if it is colon cancer, then it is difficult. You can consult any interventional radiologist to see if any Embolisation procedure can be planned for controlling the bleeding. Next Steps Proceed to any higher centre as this case needs multidisciplinary approach

I'm really anxious about a diagnosis my relative got. It's something called neoplastic etiology with ipsilateral pulmonary pleural metastases and possible mediastinal lymph nodal metastases. I'm a 30-year-old woman with a neck lump that's been there for a while. The ENT at RML Hospital did tests thyroid profile and anti-TPO were normal, but the ultrasound showed a 26x38 mm echogenic nodule in the right lobe. The FNAC came back as Atypical/Suspicious Follicular Neoplasm, Bethesda Grade IV. The doctor recommended surgery, but I really want to avoid it if possible since I'm the only earner in my family and cost is a big concern. What are my options? Should I get a second opinion at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital?
Surgery is inevitable next step in the evaluation. You may be suffering from thyroid cancer. But considering your age and description, it may be in initial stage in present and may be curable
