My daughter is 9 months pregnant. Her recent urine test shows: Epithelial cells: 20/hpf WBC: 40/hpf Other parameters: normal Does she need antibiotics at this stage, especially since her due date is near?

Elevated WBC and epithelial cells suggest a possible UTI. Since delivery is near, consult doctor promptly, antibiotics may be needed to prevent complications.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Urine Routine Test Test or Take a Urine Culture Test Test

View allHi I feel thirsty and feel like urinating within an hour duration. The color of urine is clear during day time and light yellow in the morning after sleep. I had a urine test done, which was after a full body test done by Medall. I am overweight compared to my height with cholesterol and blood pressure but currently I am asking about possible reasons for frequent urination. I drink water immediately after urination. I work in a global bank with 11 am to 9 pm working hours. I drink more water in the day to keep myself hydrated and also give rest to my eyes. I do not feel any burning or pain during urination. Please tell me if this is normal and anything else after seeing medical records uploaded by me?

After delivery, I have noticed some yellow vaginal discharge. I had a Pap smear test, which came back negative, but the report mentioned mild inflammation. Someone recommended the following medications: Forcan 140, Clingen Forte and Candid Cream. Are these safe to take? Could you suggest alternative or more appropriate treatment if needed?
