My daughter has been having fever for the last 13 days, occurring two to three times a day. She feels cold before the fever starts. After taking Crocin, her temperature comes down, but it rises again to around 100 to 101F. Her urine report is normal. She has already taken a 3 day course of antibiotics, but the fever persists. I would like guidance on what should be done next.

Fever more than 7 days with cold chills and no source despite antibiotics needs further evaluation for typhoid, dengue, or TB. Persistent fever is not normal.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Widal Test Test or Take a Dengue NS1 Antigen - Elisa Test
