My daughter has been having this pain in her right ear, and I think it's because of ear wax. I'm trying to figure out which kind of doctor we should see to get the ear wax removed. Could you help with that?

View allI'm really feeling under the weather with this throat pain. It's been tough dealing with a dry throat and I'm also having this fever that's got me shivering quite a bit. What's strange is that there's no cough along with these symptoms. Can you help me figure out what's going on or suggest what I should do? I'm just not sure how to handle this.
Throat pain, cold, fever, and chills with dry throat but no cough can be symptoms of a viral infection. To help alleviate your symptoms, you can take acetaminophen for fever and pain relief. Additionally, you can try lozenges like Strepsils for throat pain relief. Make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please seek medical attention.

I'm feeling really worried because after drinking hot water all day the day before yesterday, I started having trouble breathing, especially at night, and my nose is all congested. I've already tried inhaling steam, but I'm not sure what might be causing this or what else I should do. Can you help me figure this out?

I've had a sore throat for the last three months and it's not getting better. I've tried different medications like Bactoclav 625mg and Cefixime, but nothing seems to work. Should I be worried or try something else? What do you recommend?
common causes of a chronic sore throat include: Infections, such as persistent tonsillitis Environmental pollutants, such as smoke and chemicals Allergic reactions to pollen, mold, and pet dander Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), where stomach acid goes back into your throat Mouth breathing Straining your throat muscles by yelling, talking loudly, or talking for long periods without rest To help soothe a sore throat, you can try drinking plenty of fluids, such as herbal tea with honey or warm water with lemon. Honey has been shown to be an effective treatment for sore throats
