My doctor prescribed me Drosis XT deflazacort 30mg and tamsulosin 0.4mg twice a day for 10 days along with other meds for kidney stones. Is taking 30mg of steroid twice a day safe for kidney stones? Are steroids usually given for this issue? Will the stones not pass without steroids?

My dad had prostate surgery on June 25th and the doctor said he recovered well with no issues. Should we be concerned about this?
urine culture and sensitivity is advised to the patient.
