my doctor says I have spondylolisthesis where the 4th and 5th vertebrae are overlapping and told me to swim for 2 weeks before considering surgery. I've had foot pain for about 3 weeks now is this really something that needs surgery or could it just be routine pain that'll go away on its own?

Spondylolisthesis pain may improve with swimming, core strengthening, and spine therapy;MRI and perseverance determine if surgery is avoided.

View allI'm really worried about my leg injury. A bike fell on it, and although the x-ray showed no bone injuries, the swelling and pain are still quite bad. The doctor thinks it might be a muscle crush or a blood clot under the skin. I've been using Chymoral BR, Osteonec SP, Thrombophobgel, and ice packs as prescribed. However, even after a few days, the swelling hasn't gone down, and it still hurts even if I just let it hang. He mentioned that if it doesn't get better, I might need a cut in the leg. Does this sound like the right approach? Could there be something else that's causing the swelling and pain to persist?
, some swelling don't resolve on other hand they may get infected with abcess formation , if it's local edema with just fluid collection it will subside over period of time , if its local collection of blood (hematoma) then incision is required . if there is discharge of pus with local tenderness ,get it drained or else wait.

I have grade 1 spondylolisthesis at L5-S1 and I'm really worried about it. Can this be managed with just exercises and meds or will I need surgery? If surgery is the only option, how much does it usually cost and how long does recovery take?
discectomy is advised.

I had scaphoid nonunion AVN surgery in 2018 with a bone graft from my iliac crest and K-wire fixation. It's been 4 years now, but I still get pain every 3-4 months when I lift weights or play cricket, though it goes away in 2-3 days. My surgeon checked my recent X-ray and said the bone looks fine and some pain is normal. Does this sound right? Should I be worried about the recurring pain even after all this time?
Intermittent pain after scaphoid AVN surgery may persist due to joint stress—occasional pain is acceptable if imaging is normal, but avoid weight strain to prevent re-injury.
