My fasting sugar is 114 and HbA1c is 5.2, eAG 103 mg/dl. Am I diabetic or prediabetic? Is prediabetic reversible? Can I reverse it to a normal level under 100?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Your fasting sugar of 114 mg/dl is in the prediabetic range, but your HbA1c of 5.2 percent is within the normal range, so you are not diabetic. Prediabetes can often be reversed with lifestyle changes like a healthy diet, weight management, and regular exercise. With these changes, it is possible to bring your fasting sugar under 100 mg/dl and maintain normal levels.

I am attaching my blood reports, including CBC, CRP, and blood sugar.
