My father has been suffering from fever for the past 14 days. Two days ago, his blood test confirmed typhoid fever, and the doctor advised continuing the same medication. However, his fever persists continuously at 102 to 104F. I am very worried and tense about his condition. Please advise what should be done now, what he should eat, and how to take care of him during this fever.

Persistent high fever in typhoid can indicate resistant strain or complications. Immediate re evaluation and blood culture are necessary.
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY - AEROBIC (BLOOD) Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

I am suffering from fever, headache, and body pains including joint pains. I went to the hospital and after taking medicine I am feeling better, but I have a doubt whether my fever is normal or viral. The doctor prescribed a few blood tests but all test results are normal. My symptoms do not seem like a normal fever. Please suggest, what is this?
