My father just had surgery for cataract on his left eye today and the doctor prescribed gatiquin tromide plus eye drops. Weve also been told to continue using Brivex, which he was using before the surgery. Is it safe to keep using Brivex on the day of the surgery? I'm a bit worried and would appreciate your advice.

View allI'm a bit puzzled and could really use some advice. My previous prescription was RE 4.25 and LE 3.75. When I went to Lenskart for new glasses due to scratches on my current pair, they said my right eye power is now 4.5. Given that my power is already high and I don't feel any discomfort, should I actually switch to this new prescription? Also, I've always used regular fiber lenses without the blue ray coating that I got from another store. Is it necessary to switch to blue ray lenses now, especially since I spend the whole day working on a computer? Lastly, I just learned about cylindrical power being different too. Does this mean I need a completely different prescription for my specs?

I've suddenly noticed that the sclera of my left eye is swollen. I don't wear glasses or contact lenses, and I haven't been using any eye drops. Could you help me figure out what might be causing this?
That could be Chalazion, visit Ophthalmologist for evaluation and appropriate management, do not try to squeeze it, apply warm compress.

My doctor gave me a prescription for my glasses with these details: Right Eye is 2.25 spherical, 1.50 cylindrical with an axis of 170, and the Left Eye is 2.75 spherical and 1.25 cylindrical with an axis of 10. But the specs I got made by the company have the Right Eye at 2.25 spherical, 1.50 cylindrical with an axis of 160, and the Left Eye at 2.75 spherical and 1.25 cylindrical with an axis of 180. I'm wondering, will this change in axis affect my vision in any way? Should I continue using these specs or should I get them corrected to match my prescription?
If your vision is comfortable with the galsses continue,if not, visIT Ophtholmologist for appropriate management
