My father received the Covaxin vaccine on 3rd April. For the past 15 days, he has had a fever ranging from 99 to 101F, which is partially relieved with Crocin. COVID antigen and RTPCR tests were negative. He is also experiencing shortness of breath (28 breaths per minute). His recent blood reports show: RBC: 2.1 million/microlitre Hemoglobin: 9.2 g/dl WBC: 14.4 by 10000/microlitre CRP: 217 Serum creatinine: 3.21 mg/dl Iron: 24 microgram/dl Bilirubin direct: 0.6 mg/dl Urine report is normal, with no pus or abnormalities, and he has no issues while passing urine. Could his continuous fever, shortness of breath, and anemia be due to kidney problems? Please advise what could be causing these symptoms and the next steps for evaluation and treatment.

High CRP and creatinine with anemia and low RBC indicate possible kidney infection or sepsis. Needs urgent hospital care and nephrologist consult.

My RT PCR report is negative and I have completed 24 days in self isolation. Today I underwent a CRP test which shows Q 3.15 (0 to 6). I want to know the CRP measuring unit is mg/L, but my report shows 3.15 without a unit. Please tell me if this is a valid CRP report or not?
