My friend had LFT and KFT tests. His AST is 233, ALT is 171, and GGT is 280. Is he suffering from liver cancer?

Elevated AST, ALT, and GGT levels suggest liver inflammation or damage, but they do not directly indicate liver cancer. Common causes include alcohol use, fatty liver, hepatitis, or medication effects. It is important to avoid alcohol and fatty foods and follow a liver friendly diet. Your friend should consult a doctor for further evaluation. You can book a Liver Function Test repeat, Ultrasound Whole Abdomen, and Hepatitis B & C tests to find the cause of these elevated values.

Sir, I have epigastric and burning pain in my epigastric region and also in back with bloating. There is always pain and burning in the abdomen. I have taken a lot of medicine but not permanent relief. I am sharing my report that says cholecystitis. Will my gall bladder be removed? I also have grade one fatty liver and some enzymes are a little high like amylase and lipase. Amylase is always under 120 but lipase a little high, first time 64. What happened with me? Is this pancreatitis or cholecystitis? Please help. What will happen in this matter?

I am 4 months pregnant. In the first trimester I was taking 100 mg folic acid and everything was normal. Due to my transfer I had to change my doctor and she started 500 mg folic acid for me. As a result in only 15 days my LFT report has given me a shock. Here is my report. SGOT 193 U per L. SGPT 257 U per L. GGTP 65 U per L. ALP 338 U per L. Bilirubin direct 0.60 mg per dl. I have always lived a disease free life with no medical issues or medicines till date. Please help?
