My friend has been dealing with gallstones and keeps having bad stomach pain. The doctor recommended surgery, but is that really the only option? Are there other treatments that could help instead of going straight to surgery?

While surgery to remove the gallbladder (cholecystectomy) is a common treatment for gallstones, it's not always the only option. There are several nonsurgical approaches that may be considered, especially if surgery isn't a good fit or if the patient prefers a less invasive approach

View allI'm a bit concerned after my recent routine checkup. During the ultrasound, everything came back normal except for something called "Mild Fatty Infiltration of Liver." My blood and urine tests were all fine too. I don't have any symptoms like pain or digestive issues, and my appetite is good. Should I be worried about this liver thing? Are there precautions I need to take?

I've been experiencing a really concerning issue whenever I eat. I get this severe pain in my chest, close to where my heart is, right after meals. It seems to get worse when I have spicy foods. Oddly enough, if I lie down immediately, the pain goes away. What could be causing this, and should I be worried?

I've been really constipated and my USG showed gaseous distension in the stomach are there any treatments besides medicines to get rid of the gas? Like, could surgery or something else help? It's pretty urgent and I'm not sure what to do
For gaseous distension and constipation, lifestyle changes like increasing fiber intake, hydration, and regular exercise can help. Surgery is rarely needed unless there’s a structural issue causing the gas retention.
