My gallbladder surgery is scheduled for June 26th but I've had intense pain since 2 am that won't go away. I can't even keep water down and I'm worried about getting dehydrated. What can I do to manage this until my surgery?

View allI've been having this annoying pain in my food pipe whenever I swallow food, and I've noticed a mild chest pain every time I eat. It's also like there's this burning heat in my stomach, especially when I have tea or coffee. What could be causing this? Should I be worried?
You may be experiencing symptoms of acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). I would recommend trying antacids like Gelusil, Digene, or Pudin Hara for relief from the heat and discomfort in your stomach. Additionally, you can consider taking medications like Pantocid or Omeprazole to reduce stomach acid production and alleviate chest pain while eating. It is important to avoid trigger foods like tea or coffee that can worsen your symptoms.

So I've been dealing with high SGPT and SGOT levels ever since I had jaundice about four months ago. They're still about 1.5 times the normal limit, and while my doctor mentioned they'll get better on their own, I'm a bit worried. I've got a pre-employment medical test coming up, and I'm wondering if this will be a problem. I don't drink or smoke, but I do cycle three times a week for half an hour and practice pranayama. Should I be concerned about my exercise routine affecting my liver enzyme levels?
Cycling and pranayama are generally beneficial for overall health. You do not need to stop exercising unless specifically advised by your doctor. However, it may be helpful to avoid intense or strenuous exercise that could potentially strain your liver. If you are looking to further support your liver health, you may consider taking a liver-protective medication like Liv.52, which contains natural ingredients that help improve liver function. Additionally, maintaining a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can also aid in liver recovery.

I'm thinking about joining the Reshape Nation program to help with my weight loss, but I've heard that it might not be suitable if you have a fatty liver issue. They've also suggested using some Amway products, like Nutrilite supplements. I'm a bit concerned and wonder if it's a safe choice for me to proceed. Could you provide some guidance on whether it's advisable for someone in my situation?
no
