My grandma is having serious trouble breathing, and we're really worried. The doctor told us her lungs are damaged and weak, likely because she had a problem with kidney tuberculosis which spread. We've been going back and forth to the hospital multiple times this year for this issue. Each time, she's been given medications and nebuliser treatments, and she even had oxygen therapy just 10 days ago. But the breathing issues have started again today. Unfortunately, the doctor we're seeing isn't very open or clear with us about what's going on and what steps to take next. Who should we consult for a better diagnosis and treatment plan? We're desperate for some guidance here.

The pus from my cervical TB infection was drained but the lump hasn't gone away yet. The lab confirmed it's tuberculosis and I'm on FORECOX (Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol) twice daily. Should I get any other tests done to check if the treatment is working or if there's more going on
It's important to monitor the progress of your cervical TB treatment and the lymph node after draining the pus. While the drug regimen you're on (FORECOX) is effective, additional tests may be needed to confirm the effectiveness of the treatment and rule out any other potential complications.

I'm really starting to worry because even though I've been on the treatment for Tuberculosis since early August, I'm not seeing any improvement. I have these persistent symptoms like daily evening fevers and joint pains, and I've stopped losing weight but not gaining back what I lostI used to weigh 62 kg and now I'm stuck at 55 kg. The CECT scan showed some enlarged lymph nodes in different areas like prevascular and hilar regions, and I can't get rid of this feeling that it might be something more serious, like a malignancy. It's been 6 weeks since I started the treatment. Is it time to consider other possibilities or should I stick with the current treatment plan a little longer?
Continue same treatment ATT as advised by the physician.
