My knee pain is getting unbearable and I can barely walk anymore. I think I might need knee replacement surgery but I'm really worried about finding the best surgeon for this. How do I know who to trust for this procedure and what should I look for in a good knee replacement specialist?

I have avascular necrosis in the scaphoid bone of both wrists and a fracture in the left wrist scaphoid too but I didn't have any injury it just happened naturally. Doctors are suggesting surgery as the only option but is there any chance to recover with just medication or other non-surgical treatments?
