My liver function tests show: SGOT: 64 U/L SGPT: 99 U/L GGT: 82 U/L My platelet count is 303,000. These tests were conducted on the third day of fever. I am experiencing regular fevers of 103 to 104F, which come down with paracetamol. Please advise me on my health condition. I have attached my LFT and CBC reports for reference.

Your positive NS1 test confirms dengue in the early stage. The platelet count is normal (3.03 lakh) right now, but must be monitored daily as it can drop over the next 4 to 5 days. Your liver enzymes (SGOT, SGPT, GGTP) are mildly raised, which is common in dengue and should normalize after recovery. Continue paracetamol (no ibuprofen), fluids, rest, and track fever trends. Do CBC and LFT daily, and check Dengue IgM after Day 5 for follow up.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test

My friend has had a fever for the last 3 days, along with headache and joint pain. He consulted a doctor, who prescribed some medication for the fever and suggested tests. His Dengue IgG and IgM tests came back negative, but the Dengue NS1 test is positive. What does this mean? How serious is it, and can dengue be treated effectively at this early stage? Please provide guidance as soon as possible.

Hi I had dengue six days ago but now I am feeling perfectly fine. I just did a blood report but the platelet count is still low. Why is this happening?
