My mom has bronchial asthma and had surgery to remove air from her lungs, but the X-ray still shows some air trapped inside. She's a bit overweight and tries to walk daily, but gets breathless after just a few steps. What can we do to help her breathe better and manage this?

To improve your mom's breathing and manage her air trapping after surgery, focus on managing her asthma, weight, and breathing exercises, and consider consulting with a pulmonologist

View allI'm really worried because I've been rejected for a medical check for Kuwait due to two white spots on the left side of my lungs. I feel stranded since I can't fly even though I think I'm medically fit. Is there any hope of getting rid of these spots? I had TB when I was almost 3 years old22 years ago now. I'm 24. Is there any treatment I can consider?
I understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. The white spots on your lungs are likely scar tissue from your past TB. While treatments like bronchoscopy or surgical options can sometimes help, they may not always clear the scars entirely. Consulting a pulmonologist for a detailed evaluation is the best step.

I'm a bit worried about some health stuff and hoping you can give me a bit of clarity. I saw a pulmonologist, and they did an X-ray. The ECG was normal, but it showed pulmonary ventricular contractions. My oximeter reading was 99 for oxygen and 123 for heart rate. The doctor said I dont have any breathing problems, but I am feeling short of breath and a tight chest. Could I have COPD? What kind of oximeter reading should a COPD patient have, or when should I be concerned about my breathing? I dont have any allergies, cough, or cold. Would really appreciate some guidance here.
take pantop 40mg for 3 days
