My mom has a left ovary endometriotic cyst measuring 32x24 mm with internal echoes inside it. There's also a bulky uterus with multiple fibroids around 32x26 mm and an endometriotic lesion on the posterior wall about 24x14 mm. Should she consider surgery for this or are there other options? What does this mean for her health?

Ideally after preliminary treatment and investigations if pt is not improving and pain persist and family is complete then she should go for hysterectomy as probably advised by your gynaecologist. Next Steps Consult gynaecologist Health Tips Hysterectomy

My period is 15 days late and I'm really worried. Also, I had vaginal tightlipped surgery 23 years ago because of a personal issue could this be causing any problems like cysts or other effects on my vagina? I'm really concerned about my sensitive area

I've been dealing with PCOD and haven't had my period for three months. Now I've got my period, but it's really heavy and I'm experiencing a lot of stomach pain. I'm stuck at home due to the lockdown and can't see a doctor for the next couple of days. Do you think this is normal, and is there anything I can do to manage the pain or bleeding until I can get to a doctor? I'm really worried.

I just read my ultrasound report and I'm a bit worried. It mentions something like "retained products of conception," and "small left ovarian simple cyst." Also, it talks about a "heterogenous endometrium" and some vascularity, but I'm not really sure what all this means. Could this be serious? There was also something about minimal fluid in the pelvis and no obvious wall thickening in the bladder. Should I be doing something about this or is it something that will resolve on its own?

The report indicates the presence of small retained products of conception (RPOC) in the uterus, which can be seen as endometrial contents with vascularity. This finding should be evaluated clinically to determine its significance. Additionally, a small simple cyst is present on the left ovary, but it appears to be benign with no concerning features like septations or solid components.
