My mom's got an 11mm gallbladder but she doesn't show any symptoms. What options do we have to clear it up? Does she need surgery, or is there a chance it could resolve on its own? I'm really looking for some guidance on the best steps to take.

There is no permanent medical cure for gallstones. Although there are medical measures that can be taken to remove stones or relive symptoms, they are only temporary. If a patient has symptoms from gallstones, surgical removal of the gallbladder is the best treatment. Asymptomatic (producing no symptoms) gallstones do not require treatment.

I've been dealing with anxiety and these really troublesome gastric issues. Sometimes after lunch, if I'm out in the sun and either walk about a kilometer or climb some stairs, my heart rate just shoots up and my blood pressure feels high. But it usually calms down after about 15 minutes. I'm wondering if there's a link between the lunch and these heart rate spikes when I'm active like this. Could it really be connected to my gastric problems?

It is possible that your gastric issues and anxiety are contributing to your high heart rate and high blood pressure during physical activity. To help with your symptoms, you can try taking Pantoprazole (40mg) for your gastric issues and Escitalopram (10mg) for anxiety. Additionally, you can take Propranolol (20mg) before physical activity to help lower your heart rate and blood pressure. Remember to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new medications.

I've been dealing with this annoying acidity every morning for the last few days. It's like I wake up and feel this urge to vomit, and sometimes there's a lot of gas too. Lately, it even feels like there's acid being released or something. Could you tell me what might be going on and what I should do?

It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of acid reflux. I recommend taking Omeprazole (brand name Prilosec) 20mg once daily before breakfast for at least 2 weeks. Additionally, you can take Simethicone (brand name Gas-X) 125mg after meals to help with gas. Make sure to avoid spicy and acidic foods, as well as eating at least 2-3 hours before bedtime to help alleviate your symptoms.
