My mother is a thyroid patient and she also experiences numbness in her hands along with a burning sensation in her legs and lower back. I have consulted many doctors but the relief has only been temporary. What could be the reason for these symptoms and what should be the next step for proper treatment?

Numbness and burning in thyroid patient may indicate nerve issues like B12 deficiency or diabetic neuropathy. Rule out vitamin/nutrient issues. Long term control and rehab help more than temporary relief.

Dr. Siri Suggests...

Take a Vitamin B12 Test Test or Take a HbA1c Test (Hemoglobin A1c) Test
