I've been having a rough time with my throat lately. About two weeks ago, I had strep throat and got antibiotics for it, but even after finishing them, this cough just won't quit. Now my throat's starting to hurt again, I'm coughing up this brown-yellow phlegm, and I'm running a fever with a headache. It's so bad that I almost cough until I want to throw up. I'm really concerned about my 10-year-old daughter. She has this adenoid issue, and the problem is mainly at night when she starts breathing through her mouth as she sleeps. During the day, everything seems normal. Is there a way to treat this with medicine instead of surgery?

Prolonged mouth breathing would cause Dryness of mouth,dental caries etc., surgical correction is the treatment of choice better plan for surgery.
