My nose has an S-shaped deviated septum but the overall shape looks fine do I have any non-surgical options? If I do go for surgery, will it alter my nose shape or leave visible scars? I'm really worried about how it might look afterward.

View allI've been dealing with a sore throat since last week, and it was really red. My uvula got swollen, and it felt like it was touching my tongue. Now I'm feeling better, but my uvula still looks bigger than usual, and the tip seems black. Plus, my right tonsil is a bit swollen. Should I be worried about these symptoms?
You may have had a case of acute pharyngitis with uvulitis, and now you are experiencing some residual inflammation. To help reduce the swelling and inflammation, you can try using a throat spray containing benzocaine to numb the area and reduce discomfort. Additionally, you can take ibuprofen 400mg every 6 hours as needed for pain and inflammation. Gargling with warm salt water several times a day can also help with the swelling and discomfort. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is advisable to see an ENT specialist for further evaluation and management.

I'm dealing with a sore throat and I'm already on some medication. I'm a bit unsure about what to eat right now. Do you think eating rice is okay or could it make things worse? Id really appreciate your advice.
