It's been almost 3 months since my C3R and Intacs procedure for keratoconus but my eyes are still super sensitive to light. How long does this usually last before it gets better?
Light sensitivity (photophobia) after C3R and Intacs procedures for keratoconus is common and can last for several weeks to a few months. While the initial few days might be the worst, most people see a significant improvement within 1-3 months. Some may experience lingering sensitivity, especially in bright lights or when wearing sunglasses, but it generally stabilizes.
