My sister got a small cut with a rusty iron sickle. I'm kind of worried if she needs to get a tetanus shot. The last time she had one was on December 1, 2020, which is over six months ago. The wound is really minor, just a tiny bit of blood when we pressed it, and we cleaned it with Dettol and water. Do you think she should get the injection?

-Yes, your sister should get a tetanus booster shot since its been more than 3 years since her last one, and the wound involved a rusted iron sickle. Youve done well by cleaning it with Dettol, but a booster will ensure full protection.

I've been noticing something odd with my body temperatureit rises to about 98.3 or 98.4 degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon and evening, but it seems to dip below 98 degrees in the mornings and at night. Is this normal, or should I be concerned about these fluctuations?
A fluctuating body temperature between 98F and 98.4F throughout the day is generally considered normal, as the body's temperature naturally varies due to factors like circadian rhythms, physical activity, and environmental conditions, but if you're concerned or experience other symptoms like fever, chills, or fatigue, consult a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying health issues.

Can I drink coconut water if I have a fever? Im currently dealing with a fever of 103, along with a cough and sore throat, and I'm not really feeling like eating anything. Would having coconut water help, or could it make my cough and sore throat worse?
