My sister had an accident and underwent jaw surgery with a plate implanted near her lower orbit bone. Now there's a noticeable difference in her eye size and shape. Could this be related to the surgery or the implant? What should we do about it?

I've been researching Femto LASIK and SMILE LASIK for my vision correction but I'm a bit confused about the differences between them. Which one is safer and has fewer complications? I'm worried about recovery time and long-term effects can you explain which procedure might be better for someone with moderate myopia?

SMILE LASIK is generally considered more minimally invasive and potentially safer than Femto LASIK, with reduced risk of flap-related complications and dry eye. For moderate myopia, SMILE may be a better option due to its minimal invasiveness and lower risk of complications

Which procedure is better between LASIK and PRK when it comes to quality of vision after surgery and post-operative pain? I've heard there can be other issues after surgery too. Also, my corneal thickness is 495 um with a power of 3.50 in both eyes, and all my topography tests came back normal. Would LASIK or PRK be the better option for me to get rid of my glasses?

With normal topography and 495 μm corneal thickness, PRK is safer than LASIK and has less risk of complications; PRK has slightly more pain initially but similar long-term vision quality.

I've been noticing two floaters one medium-sized in my right eye and a smaller one in the left. Is there any diet change or medicine that can help reduce vitreous opacities or make them less noticeable? I've heard there's no allopathic treatment except surgery, but I'm hoping there might be other options to manage them
