my sister was diagnosed with a mucous retention cyst under her chin near the throat area but the report says it's not cancerous should we be worried about this is it better to leave it alone or get it removed through surgery

If it is lodged in the throat it would cause severe pain and many other worse symptoms,and its been 11 days,soo it might not be there in your throat,soo u can neglect it and consume plenty of water to wash if any,ifits bothering you much, visit your ENT doctor for evaluation and follow up.

I've noticed this lump on the left side of my tongue, more on the ventral surface. It's not painful and you can't see it from the outside, but I can feel it when I squeeze my tongue with my teeth. I recently quit smoking, and I'm worried if this could be something serious? It's really uncomfortable, even though there's no pain. Should I be concerned about this?

my brother has a small hole in his left ear along with sinus issues the doctor recommended sinus surgery first and mentioned his ear problem might improve too can you tell me the average cost of sinus surgery and whether insurance usually covers it
I don't think undergoing sinus surgery is going to cure your brothers ear problem which is most of the times permanent. sometimes it may reduce number of infective episodes in ear. but hole in the ear drum if long standing won't close unless operated. endoscopic sinus surgery cost depends on the surgeon who is operating and centre where surgery is done. cost may range from 10k to 50k.
