My sister's been dealing with a dry cough for the last couple of days, and she's been taking Benadryl dry cough syrup, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Should we try something else, or do you think we should give the syrup more time to work? Is there anything else we can do to ease her discomfort?

View allI was diagnosed with COVID on Tuesday the 20th and started the meds. I've been getting a fever every day since the 22nd, like every 20 hours or so. At first, I took Dolo, but on the 23rd and today, the 24th, I could only get my hands on Meftal 250 DT. I'm worried because it's an NSAID and I've taken it for two days straight. Will that cause me any stomach trouble? I'm trying to get Dolo again in the meantime. Do you think I should be taking any precautions?
it might be gastritis, start tablet pantop for 5 days , once a day

I'm looking over my blood CBC report and noticed that my RDW-CV is 15.2 and my MPV is 11.3. I'm not sure what these numbers mean. Plus, I've been running a fever for the last three days. Could these results be related to my fever? Should I be concerned about these levels?
Your CBC report shows a slightly elevated RDW-CV (15.2%) indicating a moderate variation in red blood cell size, which can be a sign of iron deficiency anemia, vitamin deficiency, or chronic inflammation; meanwhile, your MPV (11.3) is within the normal range; given your fever for the past three days, it's essential to consult your doctor to rule out underlying infections or conditions, such as a viral or bacterial infection, that may be causing your symptoms.

I'm feeling this uncomfortable pain right under my right breast, kind of like a bruise, especially when I press on it. It's right on the rib below my breast. There's no lump or swelling, but it's just been bothering me a bit. I haven't had any injuries or anything that might explain why it's hurting. Do you have any idea what might be going on?
The pain under your right breast, feeling like a bruise, could be related to costochondritis (inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone), intercostal muscle strain, or even gastrointestinal issues like gallbladder disease or acid reflux, so it's best to consult a doctor for a proper evaluation and diagnosis.
