My son is 3 years and 10 months old. For the last 7 to 8 days he has been feeling discomfort in his stomach. I gave him Enterogermina for 3 days, twice a day, but it did not reduce. Now he feels this discomfort in different places like the middle of the chest, left side of the chest, right side of the stomach under the ribs, and above and below the navel. This discomfort lasts for a few seconds and happens 9 to 10 times a day. For the last 3 to 4 days his motion is normal. His urine routine test report is also normal. His pediatrician checked him and told me that physically he has no problem. He prescribed Drotin DS 7.5 ml, twice daily, but after giving this medicine the problem increased. He does not have any other problems and is playful. What should I do? Should I stop this medicine?

Pain migrating around the abdomen without other findings may suggest gas, reflux, or colic. Please take a stool test and abdominal ultrasound to rule out infection or structural issues.

View allMy baby has been prescribed Enterogermina vials for 5 days because her stool report shows WBC 15 to 20/hpf, presence of mucus (+++), and reducing substances, even though she does not have diarrhea. She currently has no other symptoms but is feeding less than before, previously she drank about 90 mL of formula per feed, and now she only takes around 30 mL. Her weight has not increased in the last 3 weeks. Her birth weight was 2.188 kg, and she currently weighs 4.6 kg. How can I help her increase her weight and improve her milk intake?

Hello Sir/Madam. My daughter stool test report came (we got it done as her stool had mucus and white flakes). I just want to know if the reports are okay? By the way, she is generally fine and gaining weight normally.
