My TSH (thyroid) test report shows 19.5. What medication should I take, and what precautions should I follow? I have a 5 month old baby.

TSH is high, suggesting hypothyroidism. You may need thyroxine tablets. Consult an endocrinologist for exact dose.

View allI have been suffering from hypothyroidism for the last three years and infertility. I was taking levothyroxine 50 mcg daily, but recently I have been feeling low energy, gaining weight, experiencing hair thinning and hair fall, and my periods have become shorter with less bleeding than before. My gynecologist advised reducing the dose to 50 mcg, but my new report also shows a low TSH level. Please see my report. What should I do further? Is this something very problematic? Please advise.
