My urine report shows pus cells 20 to 24. Both kidneys show a few tiny calculi with the largest 3 mm on the right side and 2 mm on the left side. No hydronephrosis is seen on either side.

Pus cells suggest a mild urinary tract infection. Small kidney stones can often pass on their own with good water intake. If you are a non diabetic, have coconut water thrice weekly. No major issue if there is no pain, fever, or blockage.

My urine culture shows E. coli resistant to many drugs, including ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin. However, in a different, well established lab (operating since 1965), the same test done three times shows the bacteria are susceptible to these drugs. Which lab results should I trust?
