This is my Widal test report. S. typhi (O) is 1:40. S. typhi (H) is 1:40. S. paratyphi (AH) shows no agglutination. S. paratyphi (BH) shows no agglutination. Remark: Negative Widal test. Is this normal?

This is considered a negative Widal test. Unlikely to be typhoid. If symptoms persist, do a blood culture.

View allI tested COVID 19 positive and completed all prescribed medications while staying in home quarantine. For the last 7 to 8 days, I have been experiencing severe fatigue and a mild fever (99 to 100F). Yesterday, I tested positive for Typhoid. I am unsure if this is a lingering effect of COVID 19 or a true Typhoid infection. My Typhoid test results are: AH: 1:80 BH: 1:80 TH: 1:160 TO: 1:320 Should I start antibiotics for Typhoid? Do I need any further tests to confirm the infection?

Hi, how can typhoid be treated at the 2nd stage? The Widal test was done, and the titre count is 320. She has been suffering from fever, cough, and cold for the past week. Initially, we thought it might be a common viral fever and consulted a doctor, but after the symptoms persisted, we got blood tests done yesterday for Dengue, malarial parasite, and Widal for typhoid.
