My wife is feeling a bit under the weather with a mild cold, and she's in her third trimester right now. My uncle, who's an ENT doctor, recommended febrex plus and azithro 250 mg for her. I'm just a bit concerned and would love some input on whether these medications are okay for her to take at this stage. What do you think?

View allI have an 8cm simple left ovarian cyst and I'm wondering if minimally invasive surgery would be a good option for me to get it removed
Yes, minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic cystectomy) is generally a good option for removing a simple ovarian cyst, especially if it's 8 cm and causing symptoms or has persisted. It usually results in faster recovery, less pain, and minimal scarring. However, final decision depends on imaging findings, symptoms, and your overall health—please consult your gynecologist.

I'm really worried and I hope you can help me. I just found out I'm pregnant, about 6 weeks along, but I started having brown spotting, which really freaked me out. So I went to see my doctor, and they did a TVS. They found a single intrauterine gestational sac, but no yolk sac or heartbeat yet, and the sac looked irregular in the report. My doctor said the fetus seems weak right now and wants me to come back for another scan in two weeks. They've put me on a weekly Susten 200 injection. Not seeing the yolk sac or heartbeat at this stage, does it mean it could be a nonviable pregnancy? Is there a chance the yolk sac might appear by the time I go for the next scan? I'm trying to prepare myself mentally just in case things dont turn out well, but I really dont know what to expect. What are the chances things could improve in these two weeks?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I've been taking supplements like iron, calcium, DHA, and Nutricel. I'm curious if lignocaine and lidocaine are the same thing. Also, is it safe to use lignocaine for a perineum massage at this stage of my pregnancy? I'm a bit worried about it.
