My wife prolactin level is 40, and she is not pregnant. What treatment does she need to undergo?

Prolactin of 40 ng/mL is mildly elevated. Rule out stress, thyroid dysfunction, or pituitary microadenoma. Treatment includes low dose cabergoline or bromocriptine UNDER EXPERT CONSULTAYION if periods are irregular or trying to conceive. Thyroid function must be checked.

View allHi. I have taken medications one by one. First, I had severe skin problems with pimples. I took three months of treatment, and now the pimples are cleared using medicines and creams. Second, I gained weight suddenly, and my periods became irregular. My blood test showed increased thyroid levels, so I took medicines for that. Next, I am not sure what effects these medicines may have had on me. Now I am thinking about how my skin will look as I get older after stopping these medicines. I need a suggestion to maintain my health in a good way without using any medication?

Hi, my recent report shows that my TSH level is 0.32. I am taking Thyronorm 75 mcg daily in the morning, but my thyroid level is still low, and my weight continues to decrease. Could you please advise on what should be done next? Thank you.

I was diagnosed with thyroid issues during pregnancy. I delivered in March, and one month later, my TSH was 6.32. My doctor advised me to continue Thyronorm for the next 3 months. Two days ago, I rechecked my thyroid, and my TSH has doubled. I am concerned about whether this will affect my baby, as I am breastfeeding. I have read that thyroid levels can affect a baby IQ, is this true?
