My wife took the unwanted kit from Medley Pharma and finished the last two misoprostol tablets at 8 am today. It's been over 12 hours and there's still no bleeding. What should we do now?

Dietary Recommendations for Dengue Patients

General guidelines:

  1. Adequate hydration: Drink plenty of fluids, such as water, coconut water, or electrolyte-rich beverages.
  2. Nutrient-rich diet: Focus on consuming a balanced diet that includes protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats.

Non-vegetarian diet for dengue patients:

  1. Allowed: Non-vegetarian food can be consumed in moderation, but opt for:
    • Lean proteins like chicken, fish, or eggs.
    • Avoid fatty, oily, or spicy foods.
  2. Precautions:
    • Ensure proper food handling and cooking to avoid foodborne illnesses.
    • Avoid raw or undercooked meat, poultry, or seafood.

Your specific situation:

  1. Platelet count: With a platelet count of 2 lakh (200,000), you're recovering well.
  2. Fever-free for 3 days: This is a positive sign, indicating the infection is under control.
  3. Dietary recommendations: Stick to a balanced diet, including non-vegetarian options in moderation. Avoid fatty, oily, or spicy foods.

I've been trying to get pregnant for the last 5 months and even saw a doctor back in April. All my blood tests came back normal, and I've been taking folic acid cor3 and amycordial syrup for a couple of months now. My period was 3 days late this time, and I really thought I might be pregnant, but then I noticed a brown discharge in the morning with some white clots. The blood flow seems really thick. I'm just wondering what could be going on and if there's anything I should be doing differently?

Sometimes even in normal individuals due to action of anticoagulants in the body during heavy menstrual bleeding clots can be seen.....apart from this clots and discharge can be seen in certain uterine abnormality like fibroids in uterus, adenomyosis, endometriosis or hormonal imbalance like thyroid hormone imbalance or oestrogen-progestrone imbalance might also be a cause.this things need investigations like transvaginal ultrasound to ruleout the uterine abnormality. Hormone profile to ruleout any imbalance and most of the times the condition is treatable. So kindly consult a gynecologist for further management to ruleout this things.

I've just found out from a scan today that I have a tiny nabothian cyst on my cervix. I'm not really sure what it means and I'm a bit worried because I already have a cyst on my left ovary. Is this nabothian cyst something I should be concerned about? Will it mess with any pregnancy treatments I'm planning on having? Please, I could really use some advice!

A nabothian cyst is a small, benign growth on the cervix, typically harmless and asymptomatic, often resolving on its own; having a nabothian cyst is unlikely to affect pregnancy or fertility, but it's essential to monitor both the nabothian cyst and the ovarian cyst through regular check-ups with your gynecologist to ensure they don't cause any complications or affect your reproductive health
