My wife was diagnosed with multinodular goiter 1 year ago. Her thyroid report is normal. FNAC was also done. Some doctors are suggesting surgery while others suggest wait and watch. My concern is, after the operation, will my wife have to take thyroid medicine for her whole life? FNAC report and USG report are attached.

Multinodular goiter with normal thyroid reports and FNAC often needs only monitoring. Surgery is advised if there is difficulty in swallowing, rapid growth, or cosmetic concerns. If the entire thyroid is removed, lifelong thyroid medication will be needed. If only part of the thyroid is removed, medication may not be required. Hi, I have noticed bald patches on my beard and scalp. I consulted a doctor, and they advised me to do blood tests for Fasting Glucose, TSH, and Serum Anti TPO. I have done the tests, and the results are, Fasting Glucose is 93, TSH is 6.039, and Anti TPO is greater than 1300. After getting the report, I did not get a chance to consult the doctor again. I searched on the Internet and found that it may be related to thyroid problems.

Hi Sir, for the past one month I have been feeling very hot all over my body, but my thermometer shows a normal temperature. I have done all the necessary blood tests with a trusted doctor, but no solution was found. I have been taking antibiotics for the past month, but the doctor advised me to stop due to side effects. About six months ago, I had the same problem, and at that time the same doctor prescribed antibiotics as nothing abnormal was found in the blood report.
