My wife's been dealing with a really bad cough for over a week now. We tried giving her Clavam 625 and pyrigesic for three days, but it hasn't helped. She's still sneezing and coughing a lot. What should we do?

I've been dealing with asthma for over 8 years now and my doctor prescribed me a budesonide formoterol inhaler. Things have improved a bit, but I still have to use it, especially in winter. I just got over COVID about two weeks ago, but I've been noticing that if I sleep with the fan on high and no blanket, I get breathing issues because of the cold. This even happens during the summer. I always need a blanket when I sleep. Last night, around 3am, I had a breathing problem and tightness in my chest. My oxygen level was 89, but it went back above 93 after I turned off the fan and used a blanket. During the day, my oxygen is above 95. I'm worried because my oxygen levels drop at night. I've had this issue since I was a child, but back then, I didnt have a way to monitor my SpO2. Is this normal in asthma?

it might be due to nasal congestion, take steam inhalation before you sleep. it is not normal. there might be slight positional variations, but not this much

I'm back home from corona isolation because I tested positive for asymptomatic COVID-19. I've been isolating since July 28th and now I'm in home quarantine. While I was in isolation, my blood oxygen levels never dropped below 97, and I never had a fever, just a bit of tiredness. Since yesterday, I've noticed I need to take a long breath every 45 minutes, but then I'm able to breathe normally and can do pranayam exercises without a problem. After a 6-minute walk, my blood oxygen level is still 99 and I haven't felt any chest congestion or cough. I'm currently taking Pehist syrup and vitamin C tablets. The doctor at the quarantine center said I'd be fine, but I'm worried. Could this be just anxiety, or should I be concerned since I can't stop thinking about it?

I've been dealing with some lung issues and recently had surgery on my nose. I used to take Seretra 80mg for my asthma, but now my ENT doctor has prescribed Montek LC for allergies. Is it alright to take both Seretra 80mg and Montek LC at the same time? I'm just a bit worried about mixing the medications.

Only seretra is not enough for asthma. You will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same.
