One side of my tonsil has an open pocket where food keeps getting stuck and forms yellowish tonsil stones. I have to remove them manually but there's no swelling. I don't want surgery are there any ayurvedic treatments to help close this pocket?

While Ayurvedic practices can help manage tonsil stones and associated symptoms, they generally don't address the underlying structure of the tonsils, including the "pocket" you describe. Addressing a specific structural issue like a tonsil pocket might require more specialized medical interventions, and Ayurveda is not a substitute for conventional medical care in such cases.

View allI've had abnormally large tonsils for a while and tonsil stones before, so I know what those are like. But now I've found this hard white lump deep beneath the skin, and it seems like it's gotten a bit bigger over the past month. I'm just wondering what this could be and if it's something I should be concerned about?

So, I'm on day 12 after my tonsillectomy and up until yesterday, it seemed like almost all the scabs were gone and my throat looked mostly pink. But today, I've noticed that this white stuff is showing up again. Should I be worried about that or is it normal?
It is normal to see some white patches reappear in your throat after a tonsillectomy, even after the scabs have fallen off. This could be due to the healing process and is usually not a cause for concern. However, if you experience severe pain, bleeding, or difficulty swallowing, it is important to contact your healthcare provider. In the meantime, you can continue to manage your symptoms with pain relief medication such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) as prescribed by your doctor.

I've noticed that my uvula seems quite large and kind of pointy at the end. Sometimes it feels like there's something stuck in my throat. Could this be causing some nasal blockage? I'm wondering if I might need surgery for this.
If uvula size is very large and pointy and causing symptoms like feeling something stuck in your throat and nose blockage, it may require surgical intervention. One common surgery for this condition is uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP). However, the decision for surgery should be made after a thorough evaluation by an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist. They may also recommend medications such as corticosteroids to reduce inflammation and swelling. It is important to seek medical advice for proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
