S. Typhi O 1:40 dilution, S. Typhi H 1:20 dilution, S. Para typhi A H less than 1:20 dilution, and S. Para typhi B H less than 1:20 dilution are the results of the lab test. Is this typhoid severe and how many days will it take to cure?

These Widal titers are low and do not confirm typhoid. Clinical signs, travel history, and blood culture are essential. You must take a Blood Culture and Typhidot Test to confirm or rule out active typhoid infection.

Take a CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY - AEROBIC (BLOOD) Test or Take a Typhoid Test Test

View allI have been experiencing sneezing episodes every early morning and at night for several days. Last Tuesday evening, I developed cold and fever with chills. The next day, a physician diagnosed it as a viral infection and prescribed azithromycin and oseltamivir. The fever has subsided, but the cold is still persisting. Today, my Widal test came back positive with a titre of 1:160. However, I understand that Widal can be falsely positive in viral infections. What should I do next?
