Question
Sir, I received my report from Thyrocare showing an eosinophil count of 10.5, which is higher than the normal range of around 5 to 6. I am very worried because I read articles mentioning cancer and acute leukemia. Two months ago, my eosinophil count was 4.2, and now it has increased. Is this very serious, or is there still hope to get better? Please suggest what I should do

Eosinophilia is often due to allergy, infection, or parasites, rarely cancer. If no other symptoms, deworming and allergy check may be advised.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a AEC Test (Absolute Eosinophil Count) Test
